DEI is so abstract for me, everyone is talking about the importance of DEI, but I am having trouble understanding where to begin and how to even start. 
The topic of racial equity in the real estate world can be difficult to understand and connect to the real estate development world without the right foundational knowledge. As part of our Discovery and Diagnostic process, we draw upon a suite of DEI subject matter expertise to help development teams apply foundational learning to understand the distinction between Diversity, Belonging, Inclusion and Equity practices and define the WHY of DEI.
We have an HR department, why do we need to hire a Strategic DEI Advisory…can’t our HR team deal with this?

Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish between internal DEI initiatives and external DEI initiatives. Acknowledging that every company and project is at a different point on their journey to integrate diversity, equity, & inclusion into their business, our DEI Framework model takes a customized approach to help development teams assess the DEI maturity level and begin to define the DEI areas of impact that are most important to their company and development.
