Over the last 20 years working in the real estate industry, we’ve seen how developers struggle to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion into their operating models.
At THM Advisors, we help developers embed racial equity strategies into their operating models to generate better social and financial outcomes for the companies and communities they build.
“Taidgh McClory was absolutely fantastic to work with. At a critical stage during our pursuit of the Harvard Allston Land Company – Enterprise Research Campus development, THM Advisors helped our team define the WHY for DEI at the project level and design a holistic DEI Framework that guides our strategy today. We can’t thank them enough for strategic advisory services. With their help, we’ve transformed the way we approach and think about embedding racial equity through each stage of our development process. Thank you, Taidgh for helping us reach our goals and being such a reliable partner!”
Taidgh McClory of THM Advisors was wonderful to collaborate with. As a national coalition of real estate developers and investors who advocate for sustainable, equitable, walkable development, our Smart Growth America/LOCUS leadership team had a unique need for local landscape analysis of current priorities for real estate developers and investors in MA. We were very excited to work with Taidgh given his focus on equitable development and social impact, and his strong network in real estate in New England.
THM Advisors was able to provide Strategic Advisory support in collaboration with SGA and the current LOCUS MA president, partnering with LOCUS to produce both a high-level policy scan and identifying potential future collaborative partnerships and programs that aligned with LOCUS’ priorities. We especially appreciated Taidgh’s collaborative approach; he was an extremely engaged partner and his input and strategic ideas were very helpful as we honed our LOCUS MA strategy.
Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish between internal DEI initiatives and external DEI initiatives. Acknowledging that every company and project is at a different point on their journey to integrate diversity, equity, & inclusion into their business, our DEI Framework model takes a customized approach to help development teams assess the DEI maturity level and begin to define the DEI areas of impact that are most important to their company and development.
